COVID-19 Update

Friday May 15th, 2020

Hello again Watersprings Family,

We were so encouraged this past weekend with all of the positive responses we received for “The Perfect Mom.” If you have not had a chance to see it, or if you would like to share it, click here. We know that having the movie was a bit different, but it did afford us some opportunities for ministry that are producing fruit for the Gospel. It was a true opportunity to honor the Mom’s that were able to join us for church on campus last week, we hope you enjoyed the flowers. Please continue to pray for all of our OUTREACH opportunities as we seek creative methods to LOVE OUT into our community each day, and into the soon coming summer months.

Don’t forget that our weekend services are now ON CAMPUS and ONLINE! We will continue in our expository study in the Gospel of Luke together. We are picking things up in Luke 2 this week with a message entitled “Leading the Way.” We are excited to see everyone for worship and the Word as we reopen for the second week. By way of reminder, we will not be able to open our children’s ministry for a few more weeks, but we are getting ready, and the KidMin Team is super excited. In the meantime, for families who will be sitting together, we have prepared coloring pages for the services that you can pick up on your way in. We are inviting you and your family to church if you are able, and for those who are unable to join us live ON CAMPUS, we will be engaging with you ONLINE as we all worship together as one family.

As so many things are being cancelled or closed, we are prayerfully growing forward as a fellowship of believers each day. Our offices are open and the team is gearing up for Family Camp! Plans for VBS and VBS Extreme are underway, and construction and repairs around the campus are continuing. We should have our whole staff back in the office this week. We are looking forward to our small group ministries and House2House groups being able to start up in a few weeks, so stay connected for upcoming information.

This has been a wonderful season of growth for our church as we have moved out into our community, and beyond, with hope found in the love of God in new and dynamic ways.

“Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ…” -(1 Peter 1:13)

Keep loving up, loving in, loving out and loving now!

You are loved.
You are family.
