COVID-19 Update

  FROM WATERSPRINGS

Thursday September 28th, 2020

Hello again Watersprings Church Family!

Can we please keep praying, “Maranatha LORD Jesus!”? First off, I would like to take this moment to apologize for not having an update on our Website sooner. My Bad. I have been trying to keep us all in the loop and forgot to check the website as we have been sending out our Watersprings Weekly letters. If you are not receiving our weekly updates to your email and would like to, please fill out a connect card or update your information with the church office.

There is so much hate in the world today and it breaks my heart each and every day. We need each other more now than ever. So, with that in mind, it is time to get back to church! ( I know many of you have never left and have been with us online and in person on campus.) We will continue to meet ON CAMPUS and ONLINE at all our normal service times. We are looking forward to worshiping with you and yours, because we are one family, no matter where we are, or what is happening around us. Stay connected to each other by phone, email, text, DM, PM or go on a prayer walk with someone and encourage them this week as you pray for our fellowship, community, and country.

Please pray for church leaders everywhere, because things keep changing from day to day. For most, this is like shooting at a moving target with a blindfold on. To that end, virtually every adjustment we have made has actually furthered the Gospel and allowed us to reach people who may have otherwise been missed or overlooked. Not only do our ON CAMPUS meetings continue, but our ONLINE ministry has grown exponentially. Whether ON CAMPUS or ONLINE, we look forward each week to the multiple opportunities to worship together as family and bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.

When it comes to the sensitive issue regarding face coverings and physical distancing in our area please go the EIPH site here . We invite you to come to church as you are comfortable and show love and respect for others in how they are comfortable. One of the things we need to remember in all this is to keep looking forward, love Jesus passionately and love one another practically. “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” (Galatians 6:9–10).

Remember, washing your hands often is an ongoing practice of loving our neighbors and families. If you are not comfortable in a face covering that’s fine, it is your choice, and it’s also someone else’s choice to wear one. So please love and be considerate to one another during this crazy time. However, if you or your kids are sick, love your brothers and sisters and please stay home and participate with us ONLINE. Also send a prayer request to us so we can be lifting you up in prayer at prayer@watersprings.net , or call us anytime at 208-524-4747.

Keep loving God, loving each other, loving our community, and don’t let the opportunity pass by. Love today. Love up. Love in. Love out. Love now.

You are loved.
You are family.
