Cowboy Church

July 29

Join us for Cowboy Church, pot luck, worship and a message, right here at Watersprings. Check out our other cowboy church experiences at the connect wall in the lobby.

Saturday Men's Bible Study

August 4

Breakfast at 8:30AM in the Fireside Room. After breakfast we have a teaching or testimony. For more information call Pastor Gordon at (208)524-4747.

Saturday Service Canceled

Due to Church in the Park, there will be no Saturday evening service on August 4th.

Church in the Park

August 5

Join us for Church in the Park! We will be having one service all-together at Freeman Park beginning at 10am. Bring a blanket or chair to sit on, food to share, and a heart to worship! Kids are welcome! We will have optional child-care for Kindergarten and under, but you are welcome to keep the entire family together! Following service we will have baptisms in the river (bring a towel if you are planning ahead), and a huge pot-luck. We provide burgers and hot dogs, you provide the rest! If you have any questions, call the church office. Hope to see you there!

Biker Sunday

August 19

Calling all bikers – Come to Biker Sunday, August 19th at the 10:45 service. Any riders with a street legal, motorized bike, is welcome! We will pray over the rider and bike following service.

Awana

September 5

A weekly, fun, Bible-based club where kids earn rewards learning scripture, for ages 2 years old through High School. Awana inlcudes age-appropriate curriculum, weekly Bible lessons and of course games! It’s not too early to register! Register and pay before July 31st to receive 10% off your yearly expenses. Watersprings School Applications

Watersprings School is currently accepting enrollment applications for all grades; Preschool (3’s and 4’s), and Elementary through High School (Kindergarten – 12th grades). Legacy

Watersprings Church and School have embarked on gymnasium and new high school building project. The vision is to see our spiritual legacy passed on to future generations through our school and church youth programs.

This building project will be a new springboard for many years of youth, family and community ministry. Click here to donate.

Awana

Awana is a Bible-based international organization for boys and girls from preschool through high school. Here at Watersprings Church, we have Puggles (ages 2-3), Cubbies (preschool), Sparks (grades K-2), Truth & Training (grades 3-5), Trek (6th - 8th grade) and Journey (high school). Both Trek and Journey meet from 5:45-6:45 pm, and all other ages meet from 6:45 - 8:15 (September through May). Awana prices vary depending on your child's age; payment plans and scholarship are also available.

The Gospel:

Salvation through Jesus Christ

What does God want from us? The Bible tells us that God loves, and wants each of us to have lives that are full of joy, peace, and purpose. His Son Jesus came to share this message of hope; not to condemn the world but to save it (John 3:17), that we may have life more abundantly than we thought possible (John 10:10).

How do we get this abundant life? What's holding us back?

God gave us freedom of choice, because He loves us. But when we think our way is better than God's, we create a gap between us and God. This gap is called sin.

Our sin makes us guilty before Him, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Through the ages, people have tried to bridge this gap with good works, religion, philosophy, and morality. Yet, "there is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death" (Proverbs 14:12). Because the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). The good news: There is a way to bridge the gap-Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Jesus took our penalty upon Himself, and God accepted His death on the cross as payment for our sins.

Three days later Jesus conquered death, rising from the grave. God sacrificed His Son to restore our relationship with Him, so Jesus is now the mediator between God and men (1 Timothy 2:5), always living to intercede for us (Hebrews 7:25). What is your response? You can believe and look to Jesus, Who died for you on the cross; or you can continue going on as you are. To be lost, you don't have to do anything, just keep on living your life without the Lord and you will perish. But, if you believe in the One who died for your sins, then the gift of eternal life is yours, for "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13).

If you would like to receive Jesus Christ right now just pray this simple prayer:
God, I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins and experience a life of joy and peace. I invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior and Lord of my life. In Jesus' Name, amen.

If you sincerely prayed that prayer-congratulations! This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life in Christ. We encourage you to maintain and grow in your relationship with the Lord through prayer and reading the Bible (Philippians 4:6, 1 Peter 2:2). It's also important to fellowship with other believers (Hebrews 10:24-25) . If you'd like to know how to go deeper in your relationship with Jesus, don't hesitate to contact us!
