Meet Jacob Coleman
Christ-seeking servant who loves helping others, hiking, and photographing nature in all its raw beauty.
I enjoy taking hikes on nature trails with my wife Stacy and our five children. During these hikes I enjoy practicing nature photography of the various plant life in Eastern Idaho. I also enjoy painting miniature figures for role playing games and giving them to people that I think would like them.
I grew up in a Christian home and was raised by a pastor and devoted mother. I prayed to receive Christ at an early age with the help of my parents and older siblings. The Holy Spirit helped me to overcome many challenges of Asperger Syndrome as I grew and sought to learn more and to serve Christ. I met Stacy while serving on a missions trip to Mexico. A deep friendship formed and later we were married. The Holy Spirit continued to work in my life to grow and overcome more challenges such as college – where I learned American Sign Language, and medical – as our third child required open heart surgery at the age of three months. I continue to trust in God, seek His wisdom, to grow and serve more.
I attended Corban University in Salem, Oregon where I studied family therapy and applying theory and techniques to help families struggling with autism and similar issues within the family.
